Times of India - Do they proofread it before printing?

Do they proofread the Times of India before printing? Look at this.

The heading says the max temp is set to fall by 2-3 degrees Celsius in the next two days. Read on and the first paragraph says the temperature is likely to fall by 3-4 degrees Celsius. The last sentence of the article says '.....A fall in temperatures by 3-4 degrees is possible on Thursday,’’ said a Met official.' So where did they get the 2-3 deg range from. How does it matter, you say? Well, probably not too much. The bottom line is that it's gonna be colder in the next two days.

But what would you say of another such 'typo'? Here's a clipping about the mystery behind the Arushi Talwar murder case.

TNN's  Dwaipayan Ghosh has been successful in mystifying the murder mystery even more. The chronology put in the insert says:

"May 16, 2008

Aarushi Talwar, daughter of a dentist couple, found dead with her throat slit in the bedroom of her flat in Jalvayu Vihar; domestic help Hemraj Nepali national) suspected "

In the accompanying text, Mr Ghosh points out:

"Sunil Dohere, a doctor, had taken vaginal swabs following Aarushi's murder on May 15, 2008. He reported that the swabs contained a white discharge, suggestive of seminal fluid."

Dr Dohere, what on earth were you doing with Arushi's vaginal swabs on the 15th when she was 'found dead' only on 16th of May, 2008?

What's happening to responsible journalism? Is somebody proofreading the text at the Times office before it goes to print? I love the Times of India and cannot see it going to the dogs.
